Intern, Graphic Design

The Graphic Design internship is a full-time paid (minimum wage) internship position beginning in January 2018 and ending in December 2018. As the Graphic Design Intern, you will be responsible for assisting Creative Services in the creation and design of all design collateral. The ideal candidate will help create flyers, print ads, logos, brochures, banners, signage, postcards, promotional items, web graphics and social media plus anything else needed by all our internal departments. Applicants applying for the Design Internship should be familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. A sample portfolio will be required during the interview process.

Essential Functions:

• Assist creative services team with design jobs
• Work closely with other departments to fulfill design needs

Qualifications & Requirements:         

• Ability to work quickly and support multiple projects
• Proven design work in graphic design, layout, typography, and social media.
• Skill in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Willingness to improve in these areas required.
• Skills to effectively support Creative team in production of visual materials that meet and satisfy the needs of the client.
• Ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
• Ability to accept feedback as part of the creative process and educate clients on design theory and/or use that feedback to improve design skills.
• Skills in collaboration to best meet goals and objectives of clients.
• Very organized and has good attention to detail.

Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:

• Pursuing a degree in graphic field a plus
• Must be familiar with Mac OS platform
• Experience working in (or having a passion for) the sports industry
