Public University located in Minnesota is seeking a Swim School Coordinator to join its staff.

Job Description

• Actively supervise student workers giving group swim lessons.
• Make class lists and assign instructors prior to each session.
• Arrange and schedule all one-on-one lessons.
• Process and bill all program registrations.
• Track all daycare registrations and payments.
• Create classes online and monitor during the registration period.
• Hire student workers/work study students to assure appropriate staffing.
• Open/lap swim coordination.
• Responsible for assigning lifeguards to events/pool rentals.
• Set and communicate Swim School lesson and staff schedules.
• Assist with the evaluation of all Swim School staff.
• Return all Swim School messages within 24 hours.
• Follow procedure manual for handling and reporting accidents and injuries
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and respectful manner.
• Handle disputes, protests and other issues, making quick and decisive decisions where appropriate and seeking second opinions and more information when necessary.
• Maintain positive public relations at all times.
