Social Media Manager

Job Summary

• Maintain an assortment of social media platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Work with League employees in Operations, Communications and other departments to identify key messaging needs.
• Build and maintain weekly/monthly social media calendar.
• Create and/or edit a wide range of content for distribution via social platforms, including photos, video and graphics. 
• Compile monthly social media analytic reports for league executives.
• Serve as a liaison between the league and other team social accounts, managing sponsored content requirements, league event coverage, etc.
• Compile and share best practices from across the league, as well as other sports leagues, with each of the clubs.
• Cover special events on site in select circumstances.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors to implement new social media tools.
