Job Summary
Summary
The Segmentation Coordinator will assist with customer and prospect segmentation through all of the Blue Jackets’ data assets including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, email marketing, business lead sources, and SMS messaging. The Segmentation Coordinator will also be responsible for achieving the overall department goals of growing the fan base, enhancing contact records, and facilitating lead progression from non-CRM-related data sources into CRM.
Responsibilities will include:
- Effectively organize disparate data sources and standardize a list-naming procedure so marketing and data capture efforts can be properly recognized.
- Tracking the organization’s enter-to-win initiatives and ensuring total entries and new to database metrics are achieved.
- Utilize SQL, the data warehouse, and Microsoft Excel to analyze and create lists to be used for CRM and email campaigns.
- Possess a knowledge of the organization’s disparate data sources and where customers and prospects exist in each area to produce the most effective list.
- Organize campaigns within and outside of CRM that are effectively structured for long-term use and analysis, including efforts that may take place outside of CRM.
- Oversee the organization’s SMS messaging data capture efforts and ensure participation data flows to CRM or the marketing automation platform.
- Along with the CRM Coordinator, maximize a user’s CRM experience by ensuring service requests are properly handled through the service inbox.
- Champions data quality, data accuracy and data-driven decision-making within the organization.
- Ensure legal compliance and maintain that the database is being used correctly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SQL
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and to function both independently and as a team member
Education and/or Experience
- Four-year college degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, marketing, etc.)
- 1-2 years full time and/or internship experience
