Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

The position will take charge in processing of payroll of all employees. He or she will ensure that all transactions are timely and accurately processed.

Duties

• Multi state payroll on a bi-monthly basis preparing and processing
• Third party's main contact person for payroll system
• Off cycle payments and manual checks processing
• Journal entries and month end close preparing
• Payroll tax fillings and W2s processing
• Give payroll reports as required
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Accounting or business degree
• 3 years of experience in payroll (multi-state environment)
• Experience in payroll system
• Excel proficiency
• Accuracy in data entry and strong attention to details
• Can work in varying work shifts
