Job Summary

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Troubleshooting end user computer problems
  • Communicating problems and solutions both verbally and in writing to customers and management
  • Creating and following standard processes, plan effectively to complete tasks on schedule, and clearly document results
  • Providing end user support to an internal client base of 100+ users
  • Logging and tracking calls using problem management database, and maintains history records and related problem documentation
  • Internal end user support of all PC hardware and peripherals
  • Network related troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring is also essential
  • Computer inventory management

 Required Skills, Experience and Abilities

  •  Intern must receive college credit
  • Pursuit of a Computer Science related degree is preferred
  • You should be, but not limiting to, a junior, senior or graduate level student
  • You should be organized, bold, professional, mature, self-starting and committed to the sports industry
  • Any IT experience working for a team, athletic department, or with a sporting event is beneficial
  • Being able to effectively communicate is a necessity 
  • Have validated knowledge of system design, development and implementation procedures
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug hardware and software applications, identify hardware deficiencies and report findings
  • Must possess a full understanding of PC architecture, PC support, Server support, Microsoft Windows 2012 Workstation and Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 10, Office 2016, and Anti-Virus tools
  • You will need to be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Possess a solid ability to manage one’s own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when privy to sensitive information
  • Be a flexible and reliable member of the team, both within own department and the company as a whole
  • Have the ability to thrive in a dynamic and deadline driven environment
  • Presents self in professional manner and has the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization and outside contacts
  • Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and all home games
