Job Summary

 

Role Summary

The Manager will assist the Vice President and other department executives in managing the complex day-to-day details of the Productions/Content department that contributes to the efficient operation and performance of the business unit. Help with pertinent administrative budgets and tasks to ensure operations stay on target.

The Manager will ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot issues to ensure the successful execution of programs and projects. Also assist in developing plans and budgets for new and future productions.

Specific Functions/Activities Summary

 


  • Collaborate across teams to gather requirements and create comprehensive project plans including timelines, budget, quality, change, risk and issues.

  • Research and prepare budget elements to be included in Show Production, Operation budgets and Quarterly Reviews.

  • Compile and disemminate research and data, including industry trends and internal programs

  • Use various PC software packages such as spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents.

  • Act as liaison between the Executives and external contacts. Coordinate activities, conduct research and ensure that requests are carried out.

  • Track daily activities on project(s), prioritize competing needs, and communicate effectively to stakeholders and clients

  • Predict roadblocks and obstacles, and establish integration points between teams

  • Assist Executive and take the lead in special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications

 


  • Bachelor’s degree and front line experience in live entertainment.

  • Experience in Theater, Event Television and/or Film production is a plus.

  • Broad knowledge of company organization, policies and practices.

  • Full understanding of Production Budgets, RFQ preparation and bid analysis.

  • Ability to attend variety of meetings, translate issues and help advance projects

  • Excellent knowledge, with proven experience, of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of management.

  • Proven logical skills, well organized and detail oriented.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays and willing to travel to other locations as needed.
