Job Summary
Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, looking for a Facilities Assistant who will manage building-related activities.
You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that the facilities are problem-free, safe and well functioning, so that employees can work under the best conditions.
We’re looking for a hands on person who can wear multiple hats, and takes pride in a job well done.
Specific Functions/Activities Summary
- Under the direction of the Senior Facilities Manager, help manage and maintain all Area facilities, through daily cleaning, repair, maintenance etc. on an as needed basis.
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain and operate company box truck, forklift, and other equipment as needed in support of the role.
- Maintain tool and equipment rooms, and general production areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly inspections of the facilities, to identify the need for repairs, renovations, and reorganizing to optimize workflow for the team as a whole.
- Support operational teams as needed.
