Media Relations Manager

Job Summary

Sports & Entertainment team seeking Media Relations Manager to be a Liaison between the team and all local media, establish/coordinate team interviews, develop/pitch stories, proactively build relationships with the media through regular outreach meetings, luncheons, dinners, plan/coordinate press conferences, maintain up to date media distribution list, coordinate pre-and post-workout interviews and game note preparation as well as game night responsibilities.

Applicants must have excellent writing skills and communication skills including excellent attention to detail, command of the English language, design/layout of media guide, design/layout program.
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related field as well as more than 2 + years of experience in media relations or communications field are mandatory.
