Sports Betting Risk & Fraud Assistant

Our Risk and Fraud team is expanding, and this is your opportunity to put your love of sports and/or Sports Betting knowledge to work as a Private Eye! Monitor player activity and dig in deep using state of the art tools to find the facts.

 What You Will Be Doing:

  • Reviewing of potential promo/bonus abuse players
  • Multi-Device and Account sharing tracking and linking
  • Watch out and track attempted out of state wagering
  • Be on the lookout for wagering fraud
  • Preparation of reports for weekly and monthly meetings
  • Assist the Fraud & Risk Analysts with various tasks
  • Monitor live William Hill odds and liaising with trading/fraud and risk team to rectify any issues
  • Interpret data, figures, and wagering behaviors to come to conclusive decisions on business patterns for each unique client to William Hill
  • Real-time monitoring of players wagers
  • Pro-actively profiling customers based on wagering behaviors
  • Escalation of issues that may affect profitability to Senior Department members

 What you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of sports and betting
  • Good PC skills using software packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Enthusiastic approach to work
  • A proactive mindset
  • Quick thinking and decisive
  • An expert eye to detail
  • Receptive to change in the workplace
  • A Go One Better attitude to work
  • Flexible with shift patterns
  • Takes and uses initiative with tasks
  • Able to work alone
  • Ability to build relationships with other teams
  • Gambling and Sportsbook industry experience
  • Sports trading or risk management preferred
  • Workweek: flexible scheduling for hours and days work, requires one weekend day as part of the schedule.
