2020 SUMMER INTERNSHIPS
Looking to jump-start your career in the sport industry? The ThunderBolts are looking for passionate and energetic young professionals to join their Internship team for the 2020 season! Apply via TeamWork Online by March 1st, 2020.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The ThunderBolts are a Frontier League baseball team based out of Crestwood, Illinois whose season runs from May to September. There is a tremendous opportunity for college students and/or young professionals to serve as interns for the duration of the summer season. Interns will experience the life of a baseball executive and gain valuable work experience via both full-time and part-time summer internships.
THINGS TO KNOW
All interns will be asked to start prior to the home opener on Tuesday, May 14th, 2020. An ideal candidate will be available for a minimum of 14 weeks and is currently pursuing, or has already obtained, a degree in sport/business administration (or a related field) from an accredited college or university. Evening and weekend work will be required, and housing is not provided. The available internships are listed below:
- Ticket Sales (Full-Time)
- Stadium Operations (Full-Time)
- Groups/Premium Seating (Full-Time)
- Marketing/Community Relations (Full-Time)
- Promotions (Part-Time)
- Merchandise/Retail (Part-Time)
- Social Media (Part-Time)
- Broadcast (Part-Time)

- Full-Time interns will receive a stipend of $400/month, which will be paid over two pay periods.
- All interns to receive college credit, if applicable to their studies and/or university requirements.
- All interns to receive sport/event management training in relation to their specific department.
