Manager, Client Services - International Media

Job Summary

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in International Business, Broadcasting & Television, Marketing, Digital Platforms or another related field is required


• Five to seven years’ experience in Sports Media, Broadcasting (television and digital) and Partnership Management.  Experience with international broadcasters and media across Asia a plus


• Proficient with Excel, Word & PowerPoint


• Second language is a plus (preferably an Asian language)


• Strong communication and cross-cultural skills


• Excellent teamwork and multitasking skills, detail oriented 

• Serve as the senior client services contact for PGA TOUR rights holders (TV & digital) across Asia


• Develop and maintain a complete understanding about existing relationships & deals


• Work with Discovery Golf to understand and support the GOLFTV platform


• Work directly with the International Media Data Analyst to interpret and analyze GOLFTV data


• Manage aspects of the Discovery Golf relationship that are relevant to certain markets in Asia


• Work with individual clients to support our programming and to increase coverage and service levels across relevant territories


• Gather relevant broadcast and digital data from partners to develop understanding of ratings, airtimes and distribution


• Work to leverage and customize any PGA TOUR inventory for maximum promotional impact


• Work with each partner to formulate new content ideas that leverage existing distribution platforms and channels to drive PGA TOUR fan-base growth and golf participation in each market


• Work with the Business Development team and Discovery Golf to support media strategy in each territory


• Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with International Media, International Content and International Marketing to ensure partners rights are reflected and delivered upon


• Report progress, performance and partnership updates internally across the TOUR for each market overseen


• Research the media landscape in key territories and our audience characteristics to increase our knowledge base to help all facets of TOUR business


• Work with the PGA TOUR China Series & China office teams to increase the exposure of the tour on media platforms in their respective markets
