Associate Producer II

Job Summary

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the delivery of every Films project.
• Quality control manager of films and point of contact when broadcast issues arise.
• Confirm that sales/marketing obligations are fulfilled.
• Produce and oversee editing of Director Statements, bonus features and sizzle reels.
• Create Runsheet on final timings of each film and commercial times.
• Schedules edits both on campus and with Producer/Editor.
• Work with Content Planning on delivery deadlines.
• Distribute Films projects to partners (internal and external) 
• Work closely with studio shows/PR on excerpt integration.
• Update 30 for 30 website and post videos on the website
• Manage, troubleshoot and update (as needed) procedures for tape digitizing process and file delivery to filmmakers.
• Maintain production guidelines, including keeping technical specs current.
• Understands various tape/file formats.

Basic Qualifications :

• Minimum of 3 years experience in television or documentary production.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Avid.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving instincts.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years of editing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working for a network
• Strong sports knowledge

Required Education :

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
