Stage Manager I

Job Summary

The position will be practicing and maintaining performance standards set by the Studio Directing handbook while directing traffic in the studio and keeping accurate time cues.

Duties of the Stage Manager include, but are not limited to:

• Helping to assemble and prepare each show elements
• Overseeing of assigned studio
• Take part in pre-production tasks
• Helping with the managing of studio floor
• Identifying and reporting of problems
• Operation of close/frequent supervision
• Helping to check accuracy and completeness
• Decision making
• Positioning of policy/strategy
• Information interpretation
• Other related tasks

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Preference given to those with management experience
