Job Summary

 

 

Responsibilities:

  1.  Manages creative requests and asset delivery for social media and digital channels.

  2. Works with multiple departments and stakeholders to create, copy-edit, and post social media content for official pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok.

  3. Monitors the “universe” and interacts with athletes, celebrities and influencers with an “always on” approach.

  4. Provides regular remote coverage, and occasionally, on-site coverage of events using social media tools and platforms including Grabyo, Spredfast, and others

  5. Generates custom social media analytics reports using social media platforms native insights and analytics tools

  6. Tracks content against KPIs, identifying trends and best practices

  7. Maintains daily/weekly social media calendar and posting schedule to maximize impact of posts

  8. Monitors athletes’ social media presence, work with platforms to verify accounts

  9. Manages Athlete Media including monitoring athletes’ social media presence, working with platforms to verify accounts, and proactively providing content to athletes to promote events from on-sale to fight week.  

  10. Executes Community Management across all social platforms

  11. Provides support for the growth of Secondary Channels 

  12. Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned

 
Skills & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

  2. Two years of experience working with social media for a sports property preferred

  3. Journalism background and University knowledge is preferred

  4. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, and After Effects proficiency

  5. Photography and videographer experience

  6. Microsoft Excel for creating, editing, and maintaining analytics reports

  7. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with live event schedule

  8. Positive attitude and an ability to handle an intense schedule, fast-paced environment, and off-hours requests

  9. Excellent attention to detail

  10. Ability to maintain confidential information
