Job Summary

Basic functions of the Bar Back include:

• Clearing dirty plates at the bar
• Resetting bar top when needed
• Sweeping the floor
• Emptying trash cans
• Stocking and restocking ice/products
• Maintaining a clean and organized back dock area
• Having a sense of urgency
• Assisting and communicating with bartenders, hosts, servers and other bar backs
• Removing ketchups
• refilling guests requests and non-alcoholic drinks
• maintaining a clean bar area
• Bar product prep (mixes, ice cubes, garnishes, etc.)
• Checking restrooms
• Changing kegs and restocking bar
• Washing and restocking of glassware and silverware to the bar

• Job Requirements include:
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Performing duties which require bending &reaching
• Lifting & transporting up to 50-pound bustubs (in some locations) and stacked plate ware/glasses.
• Standing or walking on the floor, for up to 8+ hours
• Maintaining a well-groomed appearance
• Following all uniform guidelines
• Practicing all general safety and sanitation standards
• Recycling products, where possible
• Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
• Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency
• Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
