Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of NCAA Relations & NIL to lead our efforts in building and maintaining strong relationships with NCAA institutions, athletes, and stakeholders. This role is crucial in driving our mission to empower athletes and maximize their NIL potential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of NCAA regulations, NIL opportunities, and a passion for athlete advocacy.

Job Title: Head of NCAA Relations & NIL

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • - Develop and execute strategies to establish and maintain strong relationships with NCAA institutions, athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders.
  • - Stay informed about NCAA regulations, policies, and updates related to NIL and ensure compliance across all activities.
  • - Serve as the primary point of contact for NCAA institutions and provide guidance on NIL opportunities and best practices.
  • - Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement NIL programs, workshops, and resources for athletes.
  • - Advocate for athletes' rights and interests in discussions with NCAA representatives and other relevant parties.
  • - Monitor and analyze trends, opportunities, and challenges in the NIL landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • - Lead efforts to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and endorsements that benefit athletes and align with our mission.
  • - Oversee the development of educational materials and resources to help athletes navigate the NIL landscape effectively.
  • - Represent the company at NCAA events, conferences, and other relevant gatherings to promote our mission and services.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • - Extensive experience (5+ years) in NCAA compliance, athlete representation, or related fields.
  • - In-depth knowledge of NCAA regulations and policies, particularly those related to NIL.
  • - Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with NCAA institutions and stakeholders.
  • - Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • - Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • - Passion for athlete empowerment and advocacy.
  • - Ability to travel as needed to meet with NCAA institutions and attend relevant events.
