Job Summary
As our Vice President, you will identify and analyze business opportunities, negotiate contracts and follows deals through completion to execution. You will manage most all, digital and external commercial partnerships.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead digital Business Development and Operations team
- Analyze & prospect new opportunities to achieve overall goals of business (revenue, audience, efficiency)
- Lead external partnership management and internal communication with Legal, Finance, Distribution Sales, Corp Dev, Sales, Product
- Liaise with Business Affairs and Legal Teams to structure and create commercial deals with external partners and vendors
- Manage commercial elements of vendor relationships related to business operations and product support
- Direct cross-functional teams and facilitate efforts to build new business strategies, rationalize processes, and identify, qualify and present strategic business issues to top management
- Assist in developing and streamlining business operations processes across multiple disciplines
- Work with Finance on budget management, forecasting, and business planning, including quantitative models to support business development and value creation efforts
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 7-10 years with some management experience
- Multiple years of experience with consumer facing digital media businesses
- Fluency in internet technology platforms and digital business models
- Experienced negotiator in technology deals
- Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- A high impact presence—capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing constituencies and persuading professionals at all levels
- Deep understanding of the digital media/technology sector and competitive forces at work
- High analytical skills with keen understanding of financial metrics (need to understand budget management) and how they link to driving value
- Excel, Powerpoint, Word
