Athlete Programs Coordinator

Job Summary

• Assist in the successful execution of athlete outreach and engagement programs, providing  exemplary support to prospective and current athletes.
• Manage the Foundation Ambassador Programs.
• Collaborate and create content to drive social and digital marketing relative to athlete engagement.
• Manage  merchandise inventory and distribution.
• Collaborate and provide administrative support on additional projects as assigned.
• Represent the organization at key events over the course of the season.
•  Assist in coordination of off-site events.

• Exhibit strong drive for results and success; convey a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and be open-minded, as well as communicate new ideas that add value to the team.
•  Ability to self-motivate and self-direct; possess strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative and close team environment.

• Ability to travel extensively between March and November.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with preferred fields of study in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations, or related field.
•  Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• 1 year professional work experience in business, nonprofit, communications, marketing,sales, or social media.
•  Experience in QuickBooks and nonprofit management systems 
•  Public speaking and presentation skills.
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• High Energy Level.
