Internship

Job Summary

• Maintaining donation databases and files, including logging donations and generating/sending acknowledgements.


• Help manage License Plate program for the corresponding state.


• Assist in the preparation and coordination of charity events.


• Update and help generate content for the website and all social media platforms.


• Assist in sponsorship fulfillment and tracking of all event and program sponsors.


• Attend meetings, answer telephones and distribute mail.


• Assist in the solicitation, mailing, and distribution of event and organization information.


• Organize sales & leads contact for sponsorship solicitation for fundraising.


• Occasional “lifting” is required for events, event preparation, inventory maintenance and game night set-up and clean up.


• Administrative duties assigned by  staff members.

• Work select home games assisting with onsite tabling, marketing and promotion, the 50/50 Raffle Program and occasionally other programs and tasks.


• On game days, must be at games at least two hours prior to doors opening (example: doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a 7 p.m. team game, therefore, interns are asked to arrive by 3:30 p.m. to help set up.)


• Occasional nights or weekends are required

• College juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for earned credits. Must be dependable, friendly, personable, and outgoing.
• Must have a knowledge and interest in the non-profit and sports industries.
• Applicants must be willing to get involved in projects with varying degrees of difficulty.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
