Position Summary: The Area Manager role is responsible for establishing and maintaining account relationships with collegiate and high school football coaching staffs within a designated region.  The ideal candidate will be able to inform, educate and showcase our revolutionary technology to maximize platform adoption rates and increase subscriber utilization.  This candidate is a goal-oriented, revenue-focused individual who can quickly establish relationships for a growth-oriented sales strategy. 

Essential Job Functions: Area Managers will have several Roles and Responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

• Introduce and educate High School and Collegiate coaching staffs to the SDS Recruiting Platform.
• Aggressively identify, target and manage existing and potential schools, coaches and athletes, both individually and in partnership with the Signing Day Sports Team.
• Be able to showcase the online/mobile technology and functionality of the recruiting platform through presentation and real-time use.

·       Execute and promote Signing Day Sports skill sessions with the accounts to help athletes build out their verified platform markers.  

·       A strong desire to help guide student-athletes and coaches understand the value of the Signing Day Sports recruiting platform is a must. 

• Manage sales reporting obligations in a timely manner and keep an open, direct line of communication to Regional VP and internal Sales team at SDS.
• Additionally, you will be experienced with tracking data, KPI’s and Salesforce Administration/Customer Relationship Management
• Ensure professionalism, exceptional communication, and proactive interactions with coaches, athletes and administrators
• Flexibility to travel as needed
• Solid organizational and time management abilities, along with the ability to act independently.

Desired Qualifications:

• Two (2+) years of experience with field sales roles or business development.
• Experience working with athletes, High School coaches, and/or College Coaches 
• May be required to travel when necessary 
• Strong presentation skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation, reporting and KPIs
• Ability to embrace and accept new technologies, applications, and solutions
• Strong communication skills
