Position Summary: The Regional Vice President of Sales (RVP) leads a team of Area Managers within a designated geographic region.  Each regional team is responsible for establishing and maintaining account relationships with collegiate and high school football coaching staffs to maximize platform adoption rates and increase subscriber utilization.  The RVP is responsible for increasing revenue through leadership of the Area Manager team, ensuring client retention, and delivering a world class subscriber experience.  RVP will proactively develop the sales journey, appointment process and closing strategy to ensure successful account creation rates within their regional team by leveraging their own established relationships with High Schools, College Coaches and student athlete organizations. 

Essential Job Functions:  Regional VP of Sales will have several Roles and Responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

  • Proven knowledge of the High School and Collegiate athletic recruiting process.
  • Previous experience collaborating and working with High School coaching staffs, student-athletes, School Administration and College coaches. 
  • Ability to establish, manage and oversee credible relationships with accounts, customers and coaches. 
  • Showcase the functionality of the Signing Day Sports recruiting platform through presentation and real-time educational sessions.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop Area Manager sales staff to increase account activation, platform use and company revenue.
  • Create and implement a successful sales strategy targeting key regional High Schools, Coaches and Colleges as long-term partners with Signing Day Sports. 
  • Provide leadership and guidance while motivating sales staff to increase sales through brand loyalty 
  • Consistent reporting of sales activity, forecasting, and sales event recaps to Sr. Management
  • Ensure professionalism, exceptional communication, and proactive interactions with coaches, athletes and administrators.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5+) years of experience with Direct Sales & Sales Management role
  • Experience working with High School coaches, athletes and school administrations 
  • May be required to travel as needed. 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation, reporting and KPIs.
  • Ability to embrace and accept new technologies, applications, and solutions.
  • Must be able to competently analyze and prioritize information to make appropriate sales recommendations.
  • Strategic business planner with process-driven mindset and attention to detail.
  • Skilled at setting and running sales meetings with the ability to effectively pitch and present premium products.
