Want to run baseball camps and scout high school baseball athletes?

If you have a passion for scouting in the exciting world of high school and college softball, then this might be your dream job! We are looking for a long term commitment to grow our softball showcase and scouting division. Our job is to measure and evaluate talent of high school softball athletes, then provide professional level scouting evaluations for college coaches to recruit.

We are looking for someone to grow with us, we would like to start off with 1-3 events the first year and continue to grow to 20+ showcase events annually as time goes.

Do you need previous experience running softball camps?

Size of camps you've ran in the past doesn't matter, but yes, we do require experience running softball showcase/camps in the past.

As the Softball Camp Director you will:

  • Design and execute softball showcases nationwide.
  • Scout, measure and evaluate high school softball athletes.
  • Hire volunteers and other paid coaches to help with each showcase.
  • Maintain and update database of high school and club softball coaches and teams on the National Prospect ID website.
  • Write blog posts for the softball camp website and National Prospect ID website.
  • Post content on social media for the softball camp website.

Characteristics of what we are looking for in our future Camp Director:

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and extremely high attention to detail.
  • Outgoing personality, willing to talk in front of large groups of coaches, student-athletes and their families during events.
  • Experience as a collegiate/professional coach or collegiate/professional athlete.
  • Experience organizing and running softball camps.
  • Ability to travel nationwide.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (No set schedule, you could be working on days, nights, and weekends.)
