Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Primary duties to include, but not limited to, the following:
- Facilitate communication between key stakeholders across inter-related functional areas (Player Development, Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning) to develop and troubleshoot individualized player development plans.
- Collect and track individual athlete metrics and KPI’s and developing and maintaining systems for digitally storing and maintaining such information.
- Ensure on-the-ground implementation of player-specific programs in conjunction with members of the coaching, medical and strength/conditioning staffs in the major and minor leagues.
- Help the organization stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in the performance realm.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays while participating in a typical baseball travel schedule.
- 5+ years’ work experience, preferably in the field of sports science and performance professional, international or college sports, or related research fields.
- Excellent organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills, and experience managing and solving problems within a large and diverse group of professional experts.
- Advanced degree(s) and/or certifications in physical therapy, athletic training, strength & conditioning, kinesiology, sports science, and related fields are strongly desired.
