Broadcast Director

Job Summary

• Direct the radio and video broadcasts for all Jackals games


• Oversee in-stadium video and audio entertainment


• Provide play-by-play for  radio broadcast and audio commentary for video broadcast


• Assist in writing game recaps, features, and press releases


• Update team website and create radio spots


• Conduct interviews with players and coaches


• Prepare daily games notes and organize the production of team publications


• Work closely with ticket office personnel to manage press box pass list


• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Previous broadcasting experience


• Minimum Bachelors Degree


• Must possess play-by-play and/or color commentary experience, preferably in baseball


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Experience with Daktronics 


• Must work successfully in a team environment


• Knowledge of audio/video editing, graphic design, and/or photography is a plus.


• Must be available to work all 2020 Jackals home games, and events hosted at Yogi Berra Stadium  including nights and weekends
