Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidates will assist the Director of Strength and Conditioning Coach to enhance the physical and mental development of intercollegiate student-athletes through the establishment of sports specific training programs that intensify the physical strength, speed, and cardiovascular conditioning of the student-athlete.
- Primary sports coverage and experience is required in football, men’s soccer and women’s basketball.
- Instruct, monitor and educate all student-athletes regarding proper weight training techniques and designs training programs for both improved performance and injury prevention.
- Assist in the general operation and maintenance of the athletics weight room and attend practices and competitions.
- Division I college experience preferred.
Requirements:
- Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years specialized experience.
- CPR/Standard First Aid Certification.
- Must have one of the National Strength and Conditioning Certifications:
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification (CSCS) or
- Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) or
- Certified Strength Coach (CSC)
