Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine, this position's primary responsibility is to perform a variety of duties involved in the evaluation, treatment, care and rehabilitation of student athletes. 

Determines initial action/medical care or protocol to be followed.  Administers treatment and rehabilitation to injured athletes under the direction of the team physician. 

Requires travel and attendance to all home and away team practices and games for assigned intercollegiate sport(s). 

Develops injury prevention programs, which may include operating therapeutic modalities and rehab equipment.
