Assistant Men's Soccer Coach, NCAA

Job Summary

 Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the goals and objectives of the athletic program
• Assisting the Head Coach with organization of practices, recruitment, team travel, fund raising, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics
• Complying with University, Conference, and NCAA Division I rules and regulations
• Working cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel
• Supporting the student-athlete concept and demonstrating concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (master’s degree preferred)
• Evidence of sound organizational and communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and the public
• Four years collegiate playing experience or combination of college and professional playing experience
• Minimum two years coaching experience required
• Division I coaching experience or professional playing/coaching experience is preferred
• Familiarity with and understanding of University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
