Assistant Softball Coach

Job Summary

The position compliments the department's core values as it relates to a commitment to student-athlete welfare and student-athlete experience. This position requires both sedentary work and long durations of movement about the workspace. 

Specific Responsibilities:

Assists the head coach in the overall operation of the softball program.

Ensures student-athletes are mentally and physically prepared for practice and competition.

Recruits and evaluates prospective student-athletes.

Assists with practice and game strategy and player development.

Monitors and evaluates athletic performance.

Assists with alumni, donor, and promotional events.
