Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach and Athletic Operations Administrator, Intercollegiate Athletics

Job Summary

Duties include the following:

• Assist with daily practice and game coaching 
• Recruit prospective student athletes
• Assist with scouting and game film analysis
• Assist with team travel and equipment check out and return
• Assist with summer camps and clinics
• Maintain knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and assist with compliance related responsibilities

ATHLETIC OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

Duties include the following:

Compliance

• Assist with recruiting and CARA logs
• Assist with researching rules interpretations
• Assist with initial and continuing eligibility, transfer portal and NCAA eligibility center

Academic Support Services and Student-Athlete Welfare

• Assist with fall orientation, priority registration, end of term grade reporting
• Assist with study hall scheduling / proctoring, travel letters, and mid-term progress reports
• Assist with Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Community Engagement

Marketing 

• Assist with marketing campaigns
• Assist with creation of graphics and social media 
• Assist with activations of corporate champion sponsorships

Event Management

• Assist with game management of 125 home events
• Assist with special event management such as Fall Festival, Late Night Madness, Golf Tournaments and Homecoming
• Assist with coordination of camps and coaching clinics

Core Competencies

• Must have strong team building/management skills; ability to work across academic and administrative departments in a cooperative manner; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate collaborative efforts; demonstrated experience in program development, management.
• Knowledge of the Northwest Indiana area school systems is preferred.  
• As a part of the job responsibilities associated with this position as Asst. Women's Volleyball Coach, knowledge of rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA and conference should be maintained, reviewed and practiced to ensure compliance relative to those applicable duties.

Education

• Bachelor's degree

Experience

• Two years volleyball coaching experience required at the professional, college or high school level.
