Position Summary

• Assist the head coach in the planning and operation of a NCAA Division II program.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting and assisting the Head Coach with the operation and management of the track program including:
  1. Recruiting
  2. Practice & game management
  3. Eligibility
  4. Team performance (on the track, in the classroom, in the weight room & in the community)
  5. Student-athlete welfare
  6. Assisting with the management and administration of summer camps
  7. Fundraising
  8. Promoting athletics as an integral part of the university.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sports administration, management, business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Two to three years of experience in coaching and/or playing in the respective sport, ideally at the intercollegiate Division II level.
