Head Women's Tennis Coach

Job Summary

This is a full-time position which requires the organization and supervision of all aspects of an intercollegiate women’s tennis program including, but not limited to: 

• Comprehensive and visionary plan for the program
• Relates well with student-athletes
• Proven game planner, effective practice planner, emphasizes strength and conditioning 
• Sound budget manager
• Professional with electronic and print media
• Committed to fundraising 
• Community and alumni engagement
• Positive ambassador
• Adheres to university branding standards 
• Effective and appropriate use of social media
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. 

Experience 

• A minimum of seven (7) years of full-time coaching experience is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of full-time collegiate coaching experience at the NCAA I or NCAA II level is preferred.
• Experience as a head coach or assistant with on-the-court responsibilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Proven ability to recruit and retain quality student-athletes
