Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY :

Oversees digital media and marketing efforts. Creates visual content and publishes to digital platforms. Develops platform strategies and establishes workflow/process for project management. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES :

40% - Essential - Digital Platform Management:
Develop strategies and execute digital media and marketing campaigns for all athletic department accounts with a primary focus on the management of main Athletics and Football accounts.

30% - Essential - Content Creation
Create visual content for digital platforms including social media accounts 

20% - Essential - Leadership:
Supervises the digital and design team that includes full-time staff, graduate student assistants and undergraduate student assistants. Assigns projects and develops technical and leadership skills for individuals on his team.

10% - Essential - Service & Training:
Assists in the development of the creative solutions department, providing custom service to high-value areas of the athletic department. Liaises between external partners and internal university groups such as Administration, multimedia rightsholder, Communications and other internal/external units. Provides technical education and training opportunities on content creation and digital marketing for creative solutions team as well as other appropriate athletic department coaches, staff and student assistants.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Education - Bachelor's Degree and Work Exp 3+ years in the program of assignment, and/or equivalent.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages Work of Others - Manages work of others including hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff. Plans organizational structure and job content.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Budget Input - Provides input into the budgeting process, and oversees fund allocation.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

5% - Exposure to heat or cold
5% - Wet or humid
5% - Noise
5% - Overnight Travel
