Job Summary

Job Description:

The Assistant Director of Marketing is responsible for all marketing aspects of University Recreation. In addition to maintaining departmental responsibilities, this position will develop, implement, and assess a comprehensive and integrated communications and marketing strategy.

Responsible for raising awareness and interest in the multifaceted programs, services and facilities to the campus community. This position collaborates with campus partners to promote health, wellbeing, and engagement by all members of the campus community.

Serve as the liaison for University Wide events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field and three plus years relevant professional experience. Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Campus Recreation or related field. 3 - 5 years experience with marketing in a higher education setting.
• proficient with Adobe creative suite
• Must be able to interact with a wide variety of users and professional staff members.

An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is accepted.
