Job Summary
Job Description:
The primary responsibility will be to assist the Head Coach in facets of the program, including assisting with on field coaching sessions, recruitment of qualified prospective student-athletes at off campus showcases/tournaments/high school games, practice and game day preparation, field maintenance as required, academic supervision of student-athletes, correspond with professors/academic counselors to monitor academic progress of student-athletes in efforts of student-athlete retention, assist in fundraising efforts by the athletic department, coordinate community outreach projects and other daily projects assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required from a four year college/university.
- Previous collegiate playing, collegiate coaching experience (1-3 years) preferred, High school or club coaching experience will be considered however collegiate coaching will be prioritized.
- Previous recruiting at the collegiate level is preferred.
Minimum Experience: 1 year related experience with collegiate playing, coaching experience, high school or club soccer coaching; United States Soccer Federation D (USSF D) license preferred; valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required for team travel and recruiting
