Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Senior Coordinator, you will be responsible for ratings production, program analysis, and providing scheduling and programming recommendations to management.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Duties include MLB and NFL networking map creation, creating affiliate line-ups, creation of live event reporting tools (Reporting Form, Transponder Maps)
  • Coordinate with internal clients and external clients to ensure that they understand the live sports event structure for the week
  • Assist sports management with research and programming related issues to include properly recording and reporting of programming events to Nielsen, during Live Events
  • Handle rating for live sporting events are produced accurately and on on-time
  • Allow management to make informed decisions in all areas that support the company business model
  • Assist with commercial formats in the proper placement of supplier time, promos, national advertising, and billboards to provide maximum valueAssign formats in VPS and work with Commercial Admin to ensure logs are timed out
  • Generate revenue through national ads and promote programming
  • Assist with generating NFL ratings estimates for the upcoming season (Sales department is able to secure revenue based on these ratings projections)
  • Responsible for staying current on all departmental software programs and processes
  • Assist with training of new coordinators and interns

 

REQUIRED

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in television research from a research firm or network is necessary
  • This position is data heavy, must have advanced Excel skills, strong reporting skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Must have good organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Will need the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, including good presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staffProven supervisory and leadership skills are necessary
  • The ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints is also required
  • Knowledge of myEVNTS, NPower, WRAP Overnights and ArcGIS is necessary
  • Good organizational and project management skills, basic edit bay and tape machine knowledge are required
