Job Summary

 Description:

The MLB Team are currently seeking a seasonal Membership Services Intern. This position will run from approximately May through August. 

The intern will report directly to the Membership Services Manager and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the answering and monitoring of the Ticket Services hotline to assist member purchases and related fan inquiries.
• Providing excellent customer service to A’s Access members and fans on game day in the Ticket Services and Box Offices, using problem solving skills and optimizing fan experience.
• Learning, maintaining proficiency, and relaying usage of A’s online ticket management tools and  Access member benefits to maximize retention of current fan base.
• Working closely with Membership Services Team to maintain accurate  Access account information and ticket event creation and maintenance.
• Learning and becoming involved in the timely and accurate processing of new  Access Memberships.
• Supporting and servicing group and individual ticket purchasers for .
• Assisting/spearheading special projects and reports as needed.
• Providing overall Ticket Operations and Ticket Services assistance as needed on game day and non-game day.
• Planning and executing unique A’s Access member experiences throughout the season.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications/Requirements:

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in college or have graduated within the past 12 months
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous customer service experience, especially phone experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Candidates must be enthusiastic with a strong work ethic and desire to work and advance in sports
• Demonstrated computer proficiency
