Director of On-Campus Recruiting - Football

Position Description

The Director of On-Campus Recruiting is responsible for presenting the University Football program in the best possible manner with the sole purpose of recruiting the best prospective student-athletes to represent the University on the field and in the classroom. This includes identifying prospective student-athletes, implementing strategies to recruit the student-athletes, and coordinating visits to campus. This position reports to the Director of Football Operations.

Job Responsibilities:

   

• Coordinate and manage all on-campus official and unofficial recruiting visits, including game day visits by prospective student-athletes and their parents/guests ensuring they are having a positive experience; work with recruiting staff to organize complimentary ticket lists, meals and facilitate introductions/meetings with assistant coaching staff

   

• Implement strategic recruiting plans for prospective student-athletes; plan, develop, and execute recruitment strategy

   

• Coordinate the collection of Transcripts for all possible future PSA's and file them in ARMS profile

   

• Foster and maintain positive relationships with high school coaches both locally and nationally to assist in the process of evaluating prospective student-athletes

   

• Understand and comply with all NCAA and ACC rules and regulations pertaining to recruiting (on and off campus); report to and work with Athletics Compliance on any recruiting issues

   

• Serve as an academic liaison with compliance and academics to ensure prospect meets university and NCAA admission standards
