Job Summary

 


Summary:  
 
This position is responsible for managing and coordinating server and software services for all aspects of the organization.  The Senior SystemsApplications Engineer works closely with the Assistant Director, Network Administration/Systems Manager to provide a complete technology experience to the staff, teams and guests of the Stadium. 


Responsibilities:  
  • Develop and implement IT security and usage policies.

  • Manage, support and operate in house servers, applications and services.  This includes, but is not limited to, the video and access control security systems, ERP systems, and POS Systems.

  • Collaborate with other departments, the teams and vendors such as the concessionaire and TicketMaster to achieve IT based objectives.

  • Develop in house, or where applicable manage outsourced, information reporting solutions to drive decision making for upper management.

  • Review and approve third party contracts that relate to outsourcing parts of any managed project.

  • Develop, review, and certify all IT business continuity planning, disaster recovery and back-up procedures.

  • Assess new technologies and determine possible value to the organization.
  • Manage Microsoft Azure/Active Directory security rights and group policy.

  • Captures all events that negatively impact the business via the internal Incident Report mechanism.

  • Possess the ability to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical users and clients.

  • Ensure security policies and internal guidelines are adhered to.



Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of proven experience in a System Administration and Engineering role

  • 5+ years' experience managing an infrastructure team and communicating with multiple lines of business
  • Excellent problem solving and large-scale systems debugging skills

  • Strong desire to troubleshoot large-scale problems

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey intricate systems and logic to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with DMX512 networks for audio and lighting applications

  • Bachelor Degree Preferred
