Job Summary

Position Summary

Supervise Athletic Facility operations and staff during operating hours to ensure the department's standards for customer service, health, safety, and housekeeping is met. Supervise technical and student support staff instructing patrons on and performing routine maintenance of strength and aerobic equipment, maintaining bulletin boards, signage and displays, and collecting guest fees. Interpret and implement policies and procedures regarding access and use of facility by patrons and guests.

Required Experience:

2 years' relevant professional experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience in sports events planning, site selection, vendor negotiations; staff supervision and budget management.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

2 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience providing high levels of customer service and supervising employees. Working knowledge of athletic facility operations. Current CPR, First Aid, and Automatic External Defibrillator Certifications or ability to obtain certifications.
