Job Summary

Position Summary:
The Director of Technical Services will strive to build the most fan-engaging stadium experience for all guests of BBVA Stadium.  This includes creating, implementing, and executing the creative vision of in-stadium and live event experiences while managing the setup, maintenance, organization, and deployment of broadcast, scoreboard, video, and audio technologies. 
Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a similar role or related field

  • Passion for live event planning and production

  • Experience with scriptwriting and production timing/rundown execution

  • Knowledge of function and operation of AV equipment used for a multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility
  • The ability and knowledge of working in a fully operational HD video control room

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred 

  • Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere experience a plus

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, develop, and manage scripts, rundowns, timing sheets, and game inventory

  • Manage pre-production, live production, operations, and creative direction with respect to the in-stadium game experience 
  • Collaborate with all internal parties to create, develop and execute brand-focused initiatives in-stadium during games and live events

  • Manage content workflow for in-stadium presentation

  • Plan and Control budget for Stadium AV Department

  • Work closely with vendors for all stadium events & broadcast production trucks

  • Oversee the operations of scoreboard and video board maintenance
  • Crew and Schedule part-time staff for all stadium events 

  • Operation of Advance AV Equipment - Audio & Sound System Technology for events and press conferences

  • Coordinate with AV Technicians for pregame, halftime, and postgame ceremonies
  • Perform routine maintenance to AV equipment and maintain a clean, labeled, and organized inventory of equipment and tools

  • Set up, install, upkeep, and manage all portable multimedia equipment

  • Collaborate with Stadium staff and Event contacts for AV services for meetings and stadium events

  • Maintain an inventory and maintenance log of all AV equipment
