The Bridgeport Islanders are looking for a dynamic and creative manager that can help guide our digital presence across multiple platforms. As the AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, we pride ourselves on providing top-tier entertainment and engaging content to our fanbase that stretches from Fairfield County all the way across the Long Island Sound. We have big plans for our future and this position is going to help us go the distance.
We are hiring a Digital Marketing Manager. If you are passionate about the digital communication landscape, staying on top of the latest trends, and helping build a passionate fanbase, then we want to get to know you. 

How to Make the Team 
The Digital Marketing Manager is a key teammate and leader when it comes to marketing and communication for the Bridgeport Islanders. They are responsible for all social media strategic planning and management, overseeing all email marketing efforts, managing all team digital platforms/websites, handling all digital advertising and lead generation efforts, and supporting retail and merchandise operations. We need an individual that can step into a management role with the ability to elevate our marketing and communication execution to an elite level.
A strategic, big-picture thinker who is also highly detail-oriented, you will have solid experience in working in a fast-paced environment. 
This role requires a ‘can do’ attitude and will reside within the Bridgeport Islanders Marketing Department and will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing. This person will also engage with the ticket sales and corporate partnership teams. 

Show Us You Can 
  • Manage execution of all marketing strategies on all media channels including website, email marketing, social media, and traditional (OOH, TV, Radio, Print) 
  • Drive leads to the organization and contribute to the sales pipeline through generation strategies across all media channels 
  • Serve as internal resource for digital ad buys and work in conjunction with the Vice President of Marketing on traditional ad buys (OOH, TV, Radio, Print) 
  • Handle all day-to-day communication and content creation for all digital media channels (Social Media, Email, Website) 
  • Oversee all merchandising and gameday retail operations in conjunction with the Vice President of Marketing 
  • Coordinate with Webster Bank Arena (OVG Facilities) management for marketing and advertising support on all venue content (Concerts, Family Shows, Events) 
  • Track, analyze, and report on all marketing and advertising campaign performance 
  • Support ticket sales and partnership teams in executing all deliverables

Your Equipment 
  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field) 
  • 1-3 years of experience with a focus on Marketing, Digital Media, and Advertising 
  • Experience with media buying (Digital and Traditional channels) 
  • Experience working in retail a plus, but not required 
  • Plugged into the latest social media trends and strong familiarity with all social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat) 
  • Passionate and invested in your work 
  • Be curious to learn 
  • Highly skilled in communication and relationship building 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in strategic planning and budgeting 
  • Possession of creative mindset regarding advertising messaging
  • Ability to understand overall goals and objectives of the business
  • Comfortable tackling problems head-on and adapting to shifting priorities
  • A motivated self-starter with a no-task-too-small attitude 

Where You’ll Go 
You will primarily report to our Bridgeport, CT office, along with: 
  • Attending home games and other events (events can fall on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)
