Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager I, Maintenance & Engineering Services manages the maintenance staff, department work orders and workload, scheduling, and payroll for the department. This role is responsible for working with the director on budgets, P&L review, and procurement of supplies and services. Manages the department’s sustainability and energy conservation initiatives. Understands and uses the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work orders and repairs. Works collaboratively with the facility, grounds, security and event departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Manages the maintenance staff including scheduling, payroll and work load.

Assesses and adequately resolves maintenance issues as they arise.

Recommends and manages the department’s sustainability and energy conservation goals and objectives.

Manages the department’s procurement of supplies and selection of vendors for repairs, preventative maintenance and venue projects.

Assists and is trained for roof operations.

Assists with budget recommendations and P & L review and monitoring.

Assures Company is in compliance with building codes, city, state and federal safety and environmental laws, codes, standards and regulations.

Maintains OSHA files for the company and prepares quarterly summaries.

Manager on Duty for selected events at Globe Life Field & Globe Life Park.

Additional Duties to be assigned as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience

5-7 years of general experience in facility maintenance or equivalent experience

Computer proficiency with Microsoft computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Able to read and understand blueprints and AutoCAD

Demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws, codes, standards and regulations.

Must be professional and able to work well and communicate effectively with others.

Well organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
