Equipment Manager/Gameday Operations Coordinator

Job Summary

 The position manages the procedures for the storage, maintenance, repair, and inventory control of all equipment apparel and sports equipment. The equipment manager handles all laundry services for athletic gear and is responsible for overseeing the receiving, securing, allocation of disbursement of team apparel, equipment, and shoes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Knowledge of NCAA Division Ill rules and regulations
• Knowledge of computers and athletic-related software programs
• Knowledge of effective strategies which focus on helping an individual improve their skills and performance
• Skill in instruction of student athletes with fundamentals and principles of the sport
• Skill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutions
• Skill in developing leadership skills within a team and athletic department
• Skill in oral and written communication
