Director of Marketing - Athletics

Job Summary

The Director of Marketing and Promotions manages the department's marketing and fan engagement strategies, leads in-game productions and special events, executes promotional and advertising campaigns, assists with sponsorship activation, and supports revenue generating initiatives for  State Athletics.

Minimum Qualifications:

   
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field
   
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in marketing/promotions at a Division I school or professional team
   
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
   
• Basic computer skills with Excel and Word required
   
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
   
• Excellent organizational skills
   
• Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
   
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
