Athletics Director for Compliance
This position has primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with NCAA, ACC and university rules and regulations. The incumbent is a member of a team responsible for leading an intercollegiate athletics program that supports 27 sport programs and approximately 750 student-athletes.
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively leading a team of compliance professionals in serving and supporting student-athletes, coaches, and staff in a complex and evolving regulatory environment.
- Provides counsel, guidance and formal training to student-athletes, coaches, and staff members on NCAA and ACC rules, regulations and other ongoing regulatory matters involving intercollegiate athletics.
- Directs the process of investigation in response to allegations of rules violations.
- Develops an Annual Strategic Plan for the Compliance Office and develops and manages the budget.
