Sports Information Director

Job Summary

Manages the coverage, support, and promotion of the university's 15 intercollegiate sports and recreation programs and student-athletes within these programs. Responsibilities include management of the day-to-day sports information office, management of sports information and all administrative duties in the sports information office.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, sports management/marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. 1 to 3 years of directly relatable experience.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills
4. First Aid/CPR Certified and Mental Health First Aid Training
5. Current Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
6. Active COSIDA Membership
7. Background in working with collegiate student-athletes and coaches preferred.
