Job Summary

Position Title: Associate Product Manager - Pickleball

Reporting to: Product Manager

Location: Remote

Status: Exempt

• Job Purpose: Assist the Pickleball Product Manager in setting the strategic direction, developing and coordinating all marketing activities to support timely product innovation, product availability and achievement of profit goals for the fast-paced, fast-growing Pickleball product category.

• Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Assists with the development of new products and improve existing products within the category
• Proposes potential new product offerings and categories
• Sources materials and vendors
• Seeks input from Sales Team
• Tracks new product development timelines to ensure timely launch
• Prepares reports and analysis as requested
• Assists with product business plan submissions with key stakeholders
• Assists with product and packaging specifications
• Maintains awareness of the retail marketplace
• Supports Product Manager as requested
• Analyzes the market to determine the direction of product line, brand share, and market trends
• Maintain, conduct, and drive the analysis of Competitors, Customer Insights and Trends
• Collaborates with sales, marketing, and engineering regarding new product ideas
• Works closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to proactively market product

• Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in business management or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years consumer product management experience, a background in the sporting goods industry, racquet sports or pickleball is preferred
• Possesses excellent analytical and planning skills
• Exhibits well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word & Outlook)
• Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Exhibits problem-solving and decision-making abilities
