Assistant Director of Sports Programs

Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Sports Programs oversees the oversight, development, administration, and evaluation of a comprehensive collegiate intramural and club sports program. This position serves as the primary supervisor for sports student employees who participate in intramurals or club sports.

JOB DUTIES:

• Designs, develops and implements the intramural and extramural sports programs.
• Recruits, hires, trains, oversees and evaluates student workers. Organizes and conducts meetings, clinics and training sessions.
• Assists in the monitoring of expense budgets pertaining to the intramural and club sports areas.
• Assists with departmental assessment initiatives and reporting.
• Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations.
