Manager, Corporate Communications

The Manager of Communications is responsible for coordinating press events and outreach. The manager's primary responsibility is to serve as a liaison between media outlets and the Nationals' communications team. This position requires previous experience pitching to the media, strong writing skills, and handling sensitive information and problem-solving.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
Minimum of three years’ experience in public relations or sports media relations.
Bachelors or better preferred.
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work will require some weekend and/or evening availability.
Job also requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. May work at heights.
